Aperçu

Shimano a conçu la série phare de cannes hauturières Terez BW en collaboration avec des capitaines de compétition pour des performances optimales. Cette série complète comprend des cannes conçues pour maîtriser toutes les espèces en haute mer, avec des modèles spécifiques pour la pêche à la traîne rapide, la pêche à la traîne lente, la pêche en profondeur, la pêche à l'espadon, la pêche de fond ou la pêche au vif. Shimano a fabriqué les blanks Terez BW en utilisant des technologies haut de gamme – Hi-Power X, Spiral X et construction en fibre de verre UD – pour une durabilité et des sensations exceptionnelles en haute mer. Cette combinaison de technologies accroît la rigidité structurelle des cannes, leur permettant de rester droites sous tension et d'optimiser la transmission de la puissance pour des performances accrues face aux poissons les plus combatifs. La série Terez BW est équipée de composants haut de gamme, avec des anneaux Winthrop, Fuji et Aftco pour une fiabilité à toute épreuve. Les modèles Slick Butt intègrent des porte-moulinets Fuji DPS-H, tandis que les modèles Uni-Butt sont vendus sans porte-moulinets, permettant ainsi aux pêcheurs de personnaliser leur canne selon leurs préférences.

Hi-Power X

Hi-Power X construction uses diagonally-wrapped carbon tape to form an array of "X" shapes on the rod blank's outermost layer. The width of the tape, its winding angle and the part of the rod being wrapped are fine-tuned according to the target fish species. This manufacturing process allows Shimano to adjust these wraps during construction for precise actions, enhanced overall strength and added twist resistance. In short, Hi-Power X construction delivers sharp and crisp rod control for the angler.

Spiral X

Through its exclusive lightweight structure, Shimano's patented Spiral X construction enhances catching power for anglers. Spiral X construction consists of three layers: a middle layer of vertical fibers as well as inner and outer layers, both comprised of carbon tape that tightly winds the blank diagonally in opposite directions. By using this carbon tape in place of a conventional horizontal fiber sheet, Spiral X achieves enhanced compression rigidity and increased torsional rigidity without adding extra weight. This in turn facilitates instant power transmission for precise casting and fish fighting.
