At the core of the NRX+ FLY T2S is Dynamic Recovery Technology, which expands the rod’s effective casting “sweet spot” to generate exceptional line speed and loop stability while preserving feel and finesse at short range. This balance allows anglers to cover water efficiently, then place accurate presentations when opportunities materialize close to the boat. A two-piece Tournament Configuration with a grip ferrule delivers one-piece performance with the convenience of compact transport—ideal for travel-intensive competition schedules. Recoil snake guides paired with Titanium SiC stripper guides manage line smoothly under high line speed, while a glare-cutting matte black finish minimizes flash to encourage boat-side eats from wary fish. Finished with a full-wells AAA-grade cork grip and a custom aluminum reel seat with fighting butt, the NRX+ FLY T2S is a purpose-built tool for apex saltwater anglers chasing podium finishes in the most demanding conditions.

DYNAMIC RECOVERY TECHNOLOGY

Dynamic Recovery Technology is a blended system of several elements. Our all-new Mega Modulus+ graphite matrix and GL8 resin system, combined with the industry’s most advanced compound taper construction process, creates crisp actions with smooth, rapid recovery. The key to achieving these performance characteristics is a reimaging of our proprietary Multi-Taper Design technology. Traditionally used to enhance durability and swing weight, the G. Loomis design team developed a method of applying a similar process to improve loading efficiency and feedback. This widens the power and recovery “sweet spot”, providing performance with feel regardless of casting distance.
